Background

We come from two very different backgrounds. I (Justin) grew up with a loving family, however never had a clear concept of the gospel. On Christmas Eve 2004, God saved me and from that point forward radically changed the pursuits of my heart. Through different experiences in college, I was directly challenged by God's command to "go".

Lindsay had the tremendous privilege of growing up in a Christian home and was presented the gospel at an early age. It was during a youth summer camp that God got a hold of Lindsay's heart for the nations. She, too, was convinced to "go". Shortly thereafter, God allowed for Lindsay to attend Liberty University. It was there that we met and married in 2010.

God has given us the privilege in parenting four wonderful children - Clark (12/12/13), Mollie (3/19/15), Bear (8/21/17) and Owen (6/29/23). We look forward to seeing how God will use our children in ministry.

Training

We attended Liberty University. I graduated in 2010 with a degree in Bible & Missions. Lindsay graduated a year later with a degree in Elementary/Special Education. Prior to pursuing missions full-time I worked in the insurance industry for 4 years and Lindsay worked 2 years in the public school system. These experiences gave us great opportunities to share Christ in the workplace. While working we attended Heritage Baptist Church. God worked it out for us to have the opportunity to begin HBC's missionary mentorship process in 2012.

HBC has a rich history of global ministry and has over 30 missionaries serving in various parts of the world. Through this time of mentorship, accountability, ministry opportunities and assignments we've grown a deeper passion for the ministry God has assigned for us. God has allowed us to come in contact with a fantastic organization in Evergreen, CO - WorldVenture.

I graduated from the Japanese language school nearby our home while Lindsay received one-on-one tutoring while caring for our home from 2017-2018. From 2019 onward our focus has been on the church planting work God has called our family to participate in. Read more below!
